If a winter storm or other emergency should prevent Lake Forest Country Day School from opening or necessitate a delayed opening, radio stations WGN-Chicago, WKRS-Waukegan, FOX, WMAQ, WBBM-AM, WGN-TV, and FOX-TV and CLTV news will be notified so that they can carry announcements. The LFCDS phone contact system will be activated in the case of a lockdown, school closing or early dismissal.
