Merit Scholar Program

In honor of its 125th anniversary, Lake Forest Country Day School
announced the creation of the
Lake Forest Country Day School Merit Scholar program.
This program will provide two merit-based scholarships covering up to full tuition for incoming fifth-grade students who demonstrate strong academic ability, involvement in extracurricular activities, and whose families share in the Lake Forest Country Day School belief in involvement among students, faculty, and parents.

These scholarships are renewable annually through the student’s eighth-grade year, provided that the student remains in good standing. Students complete a separate application process including an entrance examination and writing sample. In accordance with independent school best practices, these scholarships are available only to new applicants.
