House System

Students are placed in one of four “houses” beginning in Grade 1, or when they join the School.  Students remain in the same house during their tenure at LFCDS. Throughout the school year, multiple house events are scheduled.  These events offer opportunities for community engagement, repeat rituals for community building, allow for understanding of group dynamics, promote teamwork, provide mentoring and modeling opportunities for older students, and allow for students to activate empathy, and awareness.
