Where Ideas Take Shape

 Growing Independent Learners

As students build strong academic foundations, they're encouraged to ask questions, take thoughtful risks, and discover how they learn best.

In the Lower School, learning is both challenging and deeply personal. Through exceptional teaching, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences, students build the skills, independence, and resilience to think critically, solve problems, and take ownership of their learning. As they grow, so does their confidence, preparing them for the opportunities and challenges ahead.

    Personalized Learning, Every Day

Small class sizes mean teachers truly know each student, how they learn, where they excel, and when they're ready for the next challenge. This individualized approach allows students to build strong academic foundations while developing the confidence to ask questions, take risks, and reach their full potential.

    Learning to Lead

Leadership begins earlier than you might expect. Through weekly Community Meetings, Lower School students take the stage to share announcements, celebrate classmates, showcase talents, and lead their peers. These moments help students develop confidence, communication skills, and a genuine sense of belonging.

    Learning by Doing

Children learn best when they're actively engaged. Through hands-on projects, collaborative problem-solving, creative exploration, and real-world experiences, students don't just absorb information, they discover it. This approach nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.

The boy on the left has curly hair, wearing a green hoodie with white text, and the boy on the right has straight hair, wearing a navy polo shirt. Behind them is a wooden wall with green informational posters, including one titled 'Mission Statement' and another titled 'Core Beliefs'.

“In this tech age, when many young people are only comfortable communicating via email or text, my son’s ability to communicate and present ideas effectively in front of an audience has differentiated him from his college peers.”
