Find Your Place Here

Welcome

LFCDS is the kind of place students remember long after they leave.

It's where teachers see potential before students see it in themselves. Where challenge is personal, relationships run deep, and learning is shaped around each child's strengths, interests, and growth. Come visit campus and discover a community that helps children leave more themselves than when they arrived.

Our Philosophy

The LFCDS admission process is centered on finding the right fit, for the student, for the family, and for the school.

We seek students who are curious, engaged, and eager to contribute to our community. Through a thoughtful and holistic review process, the Admission Committee considers academic readiness, character, interests, and each child's potential to thrive within the LFCDS experience.

Students enrolled at LFCDS come from more than 35 communities across the region. Small class sizes, meaningful teacher-student relationships, and a deeply personal approach to learning create an environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and personally.

Lake Forest Country Day School does not discriminate in violation of the law on the basis of race, religion, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical challenge, national origin, or any other characteristic in the administration of its admissions and financial aid procedures, or other school-administered programs.
