A Message from the Associate Head of school for finance & Operations
Dear LFCDS Families,
On behalf of our Finance & Operations team, welcome to the start of another exciting school year! We hope your family has enjoyed a wonderful summer, and we look forward to welcoming your children back to campus.
As we prepare for the year ahead, I would like to share several important reminders and resources to help ensure a smooth journey for your family in 2026-2027.
Blackbaud Tuition Management & Student Billing
LFCDS utilizes Blackbaud Tuition Management for student billing. Please take a moment to:
Review the Student & Family Handbook for payment information.
Review your payment plan and account information.
Confirm that your preferred payment method is current.
Verify that your contact information is accurate.
Review any outstanding balances from prior periods.
Monitor your account throughout the year for tuition installments and incidental charges.
Families experiencing financial hardship or who anticipate difficulty meeting a payment obligation are encouraged to contact the Business Office as early as possible. We are committed to working collaboratively with families whenever needs arise.
Billing for School Programs and Activities
Throughout the year, certain charges may be added to your Blackbaud account, including:
Extended Day participation
Enrichment programs and field trips
Athletics and extracurricular activities
Fees related to payment methods being returned or declined
Spirit Store purchases
Tutoring Fees
Other student-related fees
Late Fees
All billing information can be viewed through your Blackbaud account.
Campus Safety and Security
Student safety remains our highest priority. We ask all visitors to:
Use the Green Bay entrance when visiting campus between 8:20 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Follow visitor check-in procedures, including signing-in.
Wear blue visitor lanyard badges when on campus.
These measures help maintain a secure environment for our students and employees.
Emergency Drills
LFCDS has scheduled the following emergency drills to help staff and students maintain the highest levels of campus safety. We communicate this information to you so you can help prepare our students. Additionally, the state of Illinois requires that schools provide waivers to families who wish to not participate in these drills. Please contact your Division Head if you have any questions.
