A Message from the Campaign Committee Co-Chairs
Dear Members of the LFCDS Community,
Earlier this year, John Melton shared the launch of LFCDS' campaign to strengthen the student experience by investing in inspired teaching, enhancing our learning environments, and ensuring the School remains accessible and vibrant for generations to come. Previously introduced under the banner of our strategic plan Shaping What Comes Next, we are excited to share a new framing – Aim High: A Campaign for Lake Forest Country Day School – a spirit rooted in both our Core Beliefs and the aspirations we have for this Campaign.
Today, we are pleased to introduce the members of the Aim High Campaign Committee, a group of dedicated volunteers who have agreed to help guide, advocate for, and champion this important effort across our community. As we have spent time reflecting on what makes LFCDS so distinctive, one theme continues to rise to the surface: our people. This School has always been defined by extraordinary teachers, engaged families, dedicated volunteers, and generations of students whose lives have been shaped by the relationships formed at LFCDS.
The members of the Campaign Committee represent that spirit. They bring a deep understanding of LFCDS as current and former parents, alumni, grandparents, and community leaders. Together, they reflect the breadth of experiences and connections that make our School strong.
The Committee's work will be essential as we engage fellow parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends of the School in conversations about the future of LFCDS. They will help communicate the vision of the Campaign, share why these investments matter, and inspire philanthropic support for the students who learn here today and those who will follow in the years ahead.
As Campaign Committee members, they are serving as ambassadors for a shared vision: a future where students continue to be deeply known, personally challenged, and prepared for whatever comes next, through exceptional teaching, welcoming community, and learning environments that support every stage of childhood.
