A Message from The LFCDS CARES TEAM
Community is our core at LFCDS. Every holiday season, our school collects food for those in need.
This year, we are excited to partner with SaLT (Service and Learning Together) for a second year. SaLT is a student-led organization that works with families across Highland Park on a variety of projects, including Shop N’ Drop, a program that delivers food to hundreds of local families.
Please see the list of SaLT’s requested donations below. You’ll find donation boxes at the Green Bay and Onwentsia Entrances. There will be a box at every entrance for each LFCDS house and the House that gets the most donations will earn points!
As part of our first LFCDS CARES Day on November 20th, students will sort, box, and deliver all donations to SaLT ahead of Thanksgiving, ensuring that families receive support in time for the holiday.
Thank you,
Annie Baird, Ann Rabjohns, Chelsea Taylor, and Greg McDonough
