A Message from the Associate Director of Community Philanthropy
Dear LFCDS Families,
When we first imagined Giving Week, we hoped it would be more than a fundraising campaign. We hoped it would be an opportunity to celebrate this community, to share stories, to strengthen connections, and to remind one another why LFCDS holds such a special place in our hearts.
This week, you brought that vision to life.
Throughout Giving Week, parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty, staff, trustees, and friends of the school came together to celebrate the people, programs, traditions, and experiences that make LFCDS extraordinary.
You shared photographs. You shared memories. You shared stories. Most importantly, you showed up for one another. And, in doing so, you helped create something far bigger than a fundraising campaign.
Thank you to every student, parent, volunteer, and teacher who embraced the spirit of friendly competition and Panther Pride throughout the week.
One of the most enjoyable parts of Giving Week was seeing participation come in from across generations and from all corners of the country.
We're also thrilled to recognize the recipients of our inaugural Giving Week Spotlight Awards:
Congratulations to our award recipients, and thank you for helping make this inaugural Giving Week such a memorable success.
As I reflect on the week, one thing stands out above everything else: the stories. Again and again, people told us why they love LFCDS. They talked about teachers. They talked about friendships. They talked about confidence gained, opportunities discovered, and lives changed. The gifts were meaningful. The stories were unforgettable. Thank you for sharing both.
It has been an absolute privilege to celebrate this community with each of you.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Hillary
