Lake Forest Country Day School (LFCDS) seeks a full-time Extended School Program Teacher (ages 3-10) starting in August 2023. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Extended School Program (ESP) team, have knowledge and understanding of early childhood development, facilitate differentiated lessons and hands-on project-based learning, and provide an atmosphere in which children feel safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.
LFCDS, located on a 30-acre campus about 30 miles north of Chicago, Illinois, is a co-educational, independent day school serving 400 students from age 2 through eighth grade. The School has a long tradition of producing thoughtful, confident, and successful students. Children are known, loved, and challenged at LFCDS, and a state-of-the-art facility provides a remarkable setting for inspired teaching, academic rigor, and attention to individual needs.
LFCDS welcomes resumes from individuals interested in substitute teaching in our Early Chlldhood Development (Preschool, Junior, and Senior Kindergarten), Lower (1–4), and Upper (5–8) Schools during the current academic year.
