Lake Forest Country Day School (LFCDS) seeks a General Music Teacher and Choral Director. This teacher serves as a member of the Fine Arts Department, teaches students in Grades 3, 4, 7, and 8, directs the Upper School choirs (grades 5-8), and reports to the Head of Upper School.

Key responsibilities for the position: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and maintenance of School equipment as directed. Will need to maintain equipment record logs, and completion of electronic work orders.
Lake Forest Country Day School is seeking a Middle School English teacher for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. The current English curriculum includes literature (including novels, short stories, plays, and poetry), expository writing, creative writing, and a public-speaking competition. There is also an intentional emphasis on grammar usage and writing mechanics. Vocabulary is taught traditionally, through Greek and Latin roots, and within the context of literary studies. Students are immersed in middle-grade and young adult literature. While the curriculum is already well established, there is autonomy for each teacher to choose best-practice methods for instruction.
