Lunch Program

Lake Forest Country Day School is committed to providing each student with a healthy, well balanced lunch made from locally-sourced ingredients. HandCut Foods prepares meals from scratch each day in the School’s kitchen.

What's on the menu?

Through HandCut Foods, LFCDS offers a hot lunch served family style. Daily menus are balanced and kid-friendly updates of traditional favorites along with healthy new items designed to entice children to try something new. In addition, LFCDS offers a fresh salad bar with vegetables, toppings, and organic dressings, a sandwich bar, and a different soup each day to warm students’ bellies when the weather turns cooler. Yes. All lunches and snacks are nut free. HandCut Foods is committed to maintaining the LFCDS kitchen as a nut-free environment.

What if my child has allergies?
