LFCDS Outdoor Classroom Receives Chicago Wilderness Conservation Award
On Wednesday, November 6, Head of School Bob Whelan and Director of Advancement Bob Bullard joined Lake Forest Open Lands (LFOLA) Board President John Sentell and landscape architect Stephen Christy (also LFOLA's first Executive Director) in accepting a Conservation and Native Landscaping Award for the LFCDS Outdoor Classroom. The award was given by Chicago Wilderness, an organization devoted to restoring local nature and improving the quality of life for all who live in the Chicagoland area.

The award was given by Chicago Wilderness, an organization devoted to restoring local nature and improving the quality of life for all who live in the Chicagoland area.
The Conservation and Native Landscaping Award recognizes sites and organizations that demonstrate exemplary use of native landscaping, habitat protection, and/or conservation design to benefit both people and nature. The award that Mr. Bullard and Mr. Whelan are holding is on display in Ms. Gregg's office, so take a look at it if you get a chance!
