Alumni in the News: Jessi Puryear, Recipient of Girl Scouts Gold Award
Lake Forest High School sophomore Jessi Puryear '12 is currently very active in leadership roles within the Girl Scouts.
Lake Forest High School sophomore Jessi Puryear '12 is currently very active in leadership roles within the Girl Scouts.
Recently, Jessi was nominated for the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouts! (Only 5.4% of eligible Girl Scouts successfully earn the Gold Award!)
According to the Girl Scout website, the average Gold Award winner rates her “general success in life significantly higher and reports higher success in reaching [her] goals within many areas.”
Jessi will be recognized for this prestigious award on June, 7. Congrats to Jessi for persevering with Girl Scouts and becoming a true leader in her community!
